Scope of work:
The maintenance work involved dredging the approach channel, turning basin and alongside berth face. The quantity of 2.2 Mio cu-m is to dredge siltation and accumulation in the channel to maintain the designed depth for navigational purpose of Kakainada Seaport Limited, Kakinada on the east coast of India. The dredged material was dumped offshore with haulage distance of 5 km.
